The Pet Club Pro Story
In February 2009, the idea for Pet Club Pro was born. A top-of-the-line grooming salon was in order, so GT Grooming Trailers filled the bill and customized a beautiful salon with stainless steel interior for
longevity and ease in cleaning. The salon was picked up on April 29 in Wichita Kansas and Pet Club Pro became a reality in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte Florida on May 5.
The past 2 years, have seen the business grow steadily to become a very busy mobile grooming service. Ninety percent of the customers book their dog's appointments ahead to reserve a date/time to ensure their dog is groomed on a regular basis. New customers wait 3-4 weeks to get on the schedule and become regular Pet Club Pro customers.
Hi, I'm Val Heisey, the owner / groomer of Pet Club Pro. I graduated from Baltimore School of Dog Grooming in 1982 and had a grooming shop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I also have a fine art degree and a graduate certificate in interior design, so the dog's on my table are groomed with attention to detail and an eye for design. They are works of art.

Today, Pet Club Pro has accomplished what many mobile dog groomers desire... our customers are booking their appointment 4-6 months in advance. Here in SW Florida, our busy time runs from September, when most of our full time residents return from visiting family up north during the summer, to June, when they leave for the summer months.
Our yearly snowbirds start arriving in October, and stay until May, so the only slow months we have are July and August, but 2011 saw August to be one of our busiest months.
We encourage all our customers to book their appointments well in advance so there are no disappointments when you want to have your dog groomed. If you wait until they need it, it could be 3-4 weeks until we can squeeze your pup into our schedule. Season comes in time for the holidays, and December fills up very early.
